Don’t dismiss this trend just because of the idea of your man seeing you walk down the aisle in your dress for the first time. Having a first look will give you more time to flaunt your dress, a lot more photos with great light in the sun. Bonus feature, a first look will definitely take away some of the stress bides feel before the final walk that restricts them from enjoying the moment.

Back to nature
The natural look is undeniably a theme that started as a trend in the past two years but will definitely establish itself in 2017. Ethereal dresses with soft fabrics, makeup colours that bring out the natural beauty in every woman, earthy materials in all aspects of design and even film photography that has a fantastic soft finish; all elements that will create a chick and elegant atmosphere and will fit your outdoor wedding perfectly.

The social media take over in all aspects of our lives is now a fact. Use it but don’t abuse it. Have an unplugged ceremony and ask your guests to be fully present by turning off their phones and cameras. They will have plenty of photos and videos of you exchanging vows from the professionals. Once this special moment is over do ask them to use a hashtag for every pic or video they post from the cocktail hour and reception and the same goes for any pre-wedding events or your next day brunch.

As we put more and more thought in our everyday nutrition, there is no reason why you shouldn’t do the same for your wedding day. Attention! Don’t be fussy with the chef’s menu, but do dare to be creative and clear about what you want. Insist on using local and fresh produce, pair your signature cocktail with the appropriate finger food and make a dessert table with doughnuts, cupcakes, macaroons and local fruit.
