Destination Wedding in Greece featured by Destination I Do

Want some Saturday morning wedding Inspiration? Here is a Destination wedding in Greece featured by Destination I Do Blog! Check out the beach styled shoot full of gorgeousness!!!
“The process of bringing two people together in marriage is often times lost in the chaos of planning a wedding. What flowers to get, how many groomsmen/bridesmaids, what kind of décor? The list of things to do can go on for miles. Some couples want to strip away all of this excess and focus on the thing that’s most important, the two of them. This was the case for Scott and Michelle, who initially wanted to elope, but in the end had 4 guests attend their wedding in Greece on the gorgeous island of Santorini. For Scott and Michelle, less really was more.”
When Anna Roussos (the photographer) informed us that the couple opted for a pre-wedding photo shooting, the idea was born. Anna suggested to opt for a beach styled shoot so we started improvising throwing ideas about what would best suit the black sandy beach in Santorini.
The result really paid off as Michele and Scott were really stunned by it all!

Top 5 Wedding Trends for 2013
Posted by Moscha on December 20th, 2012 | Leave a Comment
As 2012 begins to fade out we are thinking of the wonderful projects we’ve accomplished, all the beautiful couples and the treasured moments we’ve shared.
Thinking about the great new chapter that awaits in 2013 we wanted to share “our favorite” Top 5 Wedding trends, new year will bring according to Top wedding experts.
Enjoy the inspiration and share with us your favorite trend for 2013.
1. ‘Hand-Painted’ & Colorful Wedding Cakes
2013 wedding cakes are set to have a special touch! Our favorite ones are the artistic ‘hand-painted’ wedding cakes which brings you back to a ‘Marie-Antoinette’ vintage era.
Multicolour gorgeousness also cannot go unnoticed with these great creations.

2. Illusion Neckline Wedding Dresses
Designers like Marchesa, Reem Acra, Carolina Herrera and so many more have introduced us to a whimsical illusion. The almost magical thing about this trend is that mini details such as Buttons, jewels and lace are placed around necklines, backs or around the shoulders in an almost floating effect. A romantic feminine look which makes a great fit for brides choosing to mary during spring or summer. (inspired by http://www.bridalguide.com)
3. Green Emerald
When Pantone released the “Color of the Year” we were over the moon excited. What’s not to love about this lively, radiant lush green beauty?
”The most abundant hue in nature, the human eye sees more green than any other color in the spectrum,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “As it has throughout history, multifaceted Emerald continues to sparkle and fascinate. Symbolically, Emerald brings a sense of clarity, renewal and rejuvenation, which is so important in today’s complex world. This powerful and universally-appealing tone translates easily to both fashion and home interiors.” (source by: ladolceidea.wordpress.com)
4. Custom Wedding Details
The past years the trend has yielded more and more on creating bespoke occasions, custom made wedding dresses, bouquets accessories and so on. Couples want to customize their wedding day as much as possible in order to show their true personality.
5. Prints and Patterns
From Stripes and chevron to florals and graphic prints they all are here to stay for 2013. They make wonderful table runners, napkins, or even print bridesmaids dresses and for sure can make a great impression.

Wedding Feature on Brides without Borders
Posted by Moscha on November 21st, 2012 | Leave a Comment
Just a week ago the wonderful Kirsten McGuire, Founder and Editor of website and Blog “Brides Without Borders,” contacted us on a quest to find a stunning wedding, set against gorgeous scenery, beautiful venue and simple yet stylish decor.
Without any hesitation Kirsten was stunned once she saw the beautiful pictures of one of our lovely couples who tied the knot this year in Santorini ”Gemma and Michael”. Gemma -the Bride- was also so sweet to share with us her “love story” and her own experience getting married abroad.
I would personally like to thank Astrid Mueller “our designer fairy” for her support and invaluable introduction to Kirsten.
Enjoy the Feature here.
Below are some of our favorite pictures shot by photographer Antonis Eleftherakis!

Wanted to share with you a truly romantic wedding of Thomas and Jessica through their Video Teaser.
As described by Wed Films Cinematography the creators of this lovely video teaser:
This June we traveled in Santorini to shoot Thomas and Jessicas wedding. There are no words to describe our feelings and experience for those two days. Great couple full of energy, lovely family and friends, amazing place, a wonderful wedding. Many thanks to wedding planner StellaAndMoscha who gave us the opportunity to capture this magic day. The Wedding party took place in Fanari Villas, Oia- Santorini. It was big honor for us to be part of this wedding. We hope you like the final result.
Enjoy it!

Would you tailor your Wedding Dress?

Would you tailor your Wedding Dress?
If yes then i really think you should have a look at one of our favorite Brides this year, in her breathtaking gown custom made out of Yves Saint Laurent lace! The picture was taken by Andrea & Marcus at the iconic whitewashed Honeymoon Suite terrace of Katikies Hotel! It looks even more striking against the amazingly blue Aegean Sea!
If you are still undecided have a look at Fall 2013 collections at some sketched sneak peeks granted to Brides. The gowns will soon hit New York runways.
One of our favorite ones are:

She’s a Maniac

One of the biggest wedding events, Stella and I have ever coordinated, has come to an end. If you have read our previous blog post, Wedding In Progress and wanted some ‘hot of the press’ news on the surprises then you are on the right spot.
You may have come across some of this information (here and here) we are so flattered about all this Greek press. A big thank you to Atlanis Santorini and exoumekaileme.com.
I still won’t share with you any of the wedding details. What I am about to share is how the Groom surprised his stunningly beautiful bride:
Michael Sembello the famous musician flew all the way from Los Angeles to entertain the guests and sing one of the bride’s favorite songs: She’s a Maniac Is there anyone who doesn’t like this song? We are all MANIAC about it!
On top of this, two days after the wedding NIVO (Nikos Vourliotis the signer from Going Through- Greek hip hop band) flew to Santorini in order to meet Michael Sembello at Black Rock Studio and……Worked on a new song together!
Check out the shots taken by Andrea & Marcus at Black Rock Studio. More news about this collaboration will follow soon, so watch this space!
Again our special thanks goes to Kostas Kalimeris who is a wonder man and helped make all this possible!

Wanted to share with you a wedding in progress for which Stella and I have been over the moon excited about for a year now!
Most staff has already arrived in Santorini from Athens and will be working overnight in order to set everything for tomorrow.
There are so many details we love about this wedding such as the Tuk Tuk cars which will transfer the guests from the ceremony location to the reception (they came all the way from Thailand and it will be their first ride on a Greek island- Santorini), the all white decoration which will be undertaken by one of our favorite Florist Designers Robert Koene, the amazing team of photographers who will capture the wedding Andrea & Marcus (who flew all the way from New York) and the fact that the wedding reception will more likely resemble a concert (thanks to Kostas Kalimeris)!
There are so many surprises which we cannot still announce who will blow you away for sure! Stay tuned for some real wedding pictures and more spicy news!
Look for some work in progress pictures for now (all taken by my i phone while working) !
